The Alton High School Minority Excellence Program is an honors based organization which provides astute minority students the support(s) needed to succeed in four year colleges/universities regardless of parents’ level of income and education by providing mentoring and information the students will need in order for them to create appropriate schedules including honors, advanced placement (AP), and dual credit classes throughout their high school career.
